Steven Klein is a celebrated American photographer who won acclaim
for his photography style, which has been described as intense, conceptual and

dark room in his parents' basement. He began by taking several photos of a
girl, who he acclaims introduced him to the fashion world or fashion aspect of
photography. After graduating high school, Klein studied painting at the
Rhode Island School of Design. But after graduating college, he decided to
pursue photography entirely with his inspirations from Picasso and Bacon.
His first photography job was
shooting a mascara ad campaign in Paris for Christian Dior. He has worked on a
variety of ad campaigns for high-end clients: Calvin Klein, Dolce &
Gabbana, Vogue, etc. Klein is most famous for his photo shoot with Brad Pitt.
