Book Binding: The Great Graphics

For our last assignment, we were assigned to create a book with a variety of designers. We were assigned a specific designer and then designed two double-paged spreads for said designer. Once this was complete, we were placed in a group with fellow students and combined all our spreads to create individual books with unique jackets, title pages, table of contents, end pages, biographies, and logos for the publication company. These books were hand bound, making them all the more difficult but fun.
I loved this project because I truly got to explore the graphic design aspect that we have been waiting for all semester. I could not have asked for a better group and Ann was a wonderful teacher, who gave excellent and relevant advice when it came to critiques. This project was thoroughly enjoyable and fun and a great way to end the semester.
